Forwarding an Invitation to the May 3rd Sunday Night at the Wearable Art Market Discussion hosted by Streetnoodles

This month the open discussion in the Wearable Art Market forum will be based around the strange things artists sometimes do for their art...sure to be a lot of laughing on this one!

Here's the original invitation posted by this month's host Streetnoodles

Get out your pencils and mark your calendars, the next Wearable Art Market Sunday gathering will be May 3rd; 7pm EST, 6pm central, 5pm mountain and 4pm pacific time, till whenever!

The thread will be in the Wearable Art Market public forum--http://www.1000markets.com/forums/23

The "Wearable Art Market" is eager to break down the walls between buyer & seller...opening the doors of discussion that will help everyone to understand a little more about our varied crafts and the inspiration behind it...even the day-to-day mondain tasks needed to be done to follow our passion.

With that in mind, the artists of the Wearable Art Market will be getting together Sunday evening and we'd love to have you join us!

Art will be the subject of course-- inspiration, latest ambitions, recent successes-- or works in progress-- BUT i recently watched an old video of "A Chorus Line"...and the question that came up, "what i did for love"...corny i know BUT i would like to ask a variation of that question--"what is the most silly or humiliating thing you've done for art? ...think about it & bring it to the forum!

I suggest you pop some popcorn, or maybe some salsa & chips, beverage of your choice, barefeet or "bunny" slippers a must, and maybe a pillow for your bum...we're in for the long haul.

Hope to see you there! (what does this photo has to do with my sacrifices for art?) teehee!

Today's Market Finds at 1000 Markets

1000 Markets

We are a community of marketplaces, large and small, connecting artisan merchants with the people who love their products.

Our markets are more than just collections of products; they are full of people and stories. They have voices and personalities.

Our merchants are small, independent, artisan businesses built by people who love their craft. They make and sell unique products, based on their own vision, personality and story. Working together, these artisans create marketplace communities - gathering places where merchants can exchange ideas, and customers can browse and talk.

Our markets are large and small, broad and narrow. Some have themes, like food, crafts, or art. Others cultivate a sense of place around a region. And some exist simply because the people in them share friendship or common values. Each market fosters its own one-of-a-kind community, always unique and interesting.
