Art for the Body re-blog

This is a re-blogging of this week's feature artist on Art for the Body...a Blog of Wearable Art presenting Sharon MacLeod

Sharon's work is strong, vibrant and heavily ethnic. She works with an unlikely combination of materials. The bracelets start with her own graphic art that is printed on thin paper, which is then meticulously laminated to various sizes of small tubing, and then assembled with a variety of materials including polymer clay, glass, metal, rubber and plastic.
